The army, the anti-riot squad and the police are deployed for the clearance of a squat in the Vondelstraat in Amsterdam. The high barricades that have been put up by the squatters are run over by tanks. SHOTS: squatters put up barricades using paving stones and site huts; fire brigades extinguishes a fire in a nearby office building; many daytrippers come to watch the barricades; tank runs over a burning barricade, followed by the anti-riot squad and the state police; bulldozers clear up the barricades, including cars, and leave the Vondelstraat afterwards.
