Celebration at night for the 40 years jubilee of stage and film actor Johan Kaart in the Schouwburg in Amsterdam. Kaart hands over the earnings of the celebration to the Polioclub, the Amsterdam association of infantile paralysis patients. Johan
Bendien, director of the Schouwburg, honours Kaart on behalf of the city of Amsterdam. He receives a hat from the play "De Jantjes"and Rika Hopper, with whom Kaart played his first stage role, congratulates him. Heintje Davids is in the audience. At the end he delivers a speech of thanks.
