Week number 73-04
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The first raising of the land with sand for the future city of Almere in Southern Flevoland has been completed. Planners, sociologists, economists, urban development planners, housing and landscape architects and traffic experts from the Rijksdienst IJsselmeer Polders work together on the development of Almere in Lelystad. On the drawing boards the plans are being developed. The city will consist of several centres, have lots of green and 90% low-rise buildings. Also shots of a scale model of the city.
