Overview of the activities at the intake station along the Maas of the Rotterdam Waterworks. New filters are being used to meet the increasing demand for tap water. SHOTS: - ext. buildings and installations: a.o. bassins; pipes; filters etc.; water tower; - an employee takes water samples from one of the sedimentation stations; - in a laboratory the water is tested and analysed; - man opens the stopcock; water pours in the bassin.
