Students of the Domestic Science School in the Gabriël Metsustraat in Amsterdam bake 'oliebollen'. These oliebollen are meant for a street sale for the collection of the FIKA, the Federation of Institutes for Child Welfare in Amsterdam. The collection will be held on March 21, 1936. Alderman Van Meurs tastes the first oliebollen in a classroom of the domestic science school in the presence of FIKA chairman Da Costa. SHOTS: - Lorry stops in front of the school entrance; girls in white uniforms storm outside and unload bags of flower; - several shots of girls in a classroom making dough and baking oliebollen; - some shots of the alderman (man with glasses) delivering a short speech and tasting oliebollen, alternated with shots of spectators; from 01:37 close up of Van Meurs.
