Two fellow sailors narrowly escape death during a hurricane.
Two fellow sailors narrowly escape death during a hurricane. Two sisters get engaged to two sailors, who are friends with each other. The men go out fishing on the “Thomas S. Corton”. Just as the women are notified of the sailors’ safe return, a raging hurricane breaks out. During the night, the sisters’ father receives a telegram indicating that the ship is sinking. The brother of the two women is only able to save one of the men, but fortunately a fishing boat manages to save the other.
