A (smoking) woman dressed as a jester uses tricks to make people, animals, and things appear and disappear. A woman dressed as a jester conjures up two Pierrots and one Pierrette. The Pierrots fight until they merge into one another, and what remains then terrifyingly transforms into an apple, and Pierrette in transformed into an ugly woman. Pierrette eats from the apple. The jester turns Pierrette back into a beauty, and stuffs her in a box. Later she shakes the box, and Pierrette reappears. By blowing smoke towards Pierette, she transforms her into a girl in a nice dress, and then separates Pierrette from that girl in the dress.
