Mr. Ch.J.M.A. van Rooy is appointed as mayor in a special council meeting in Sancta Ursula, the old city hall of Eindhoven. The deputy mayor hangs the chain of office around hangt Van Rooy's neck in the presence of his wife and children and former mayor H.A.M.T. Kolfschoten. Then Van Rooy gives his inauguration speech. Also footage of the new tracks and roads to the city.
