Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Close to the sea in Noordwijk an experimental radar station has been put up. Among the authorities that are present at the opening is one of the "inventors"of the radar, the English man Sir Robert Watson Watt. SHOTS: - ext. building; - rotating radar antenna on the roof; - int. building with close ups of the int. and ext. of the electronic equipment; - animated shots explain the principles of the radar to the viewers; - image of the surrounding area as shown by a rotating beam on the radar screen; - authorities; 01:18 Watson Watt looks at the equipment.
