To promote the mechanization in horticulture a Mechanization Day is held in Hoorn. SHOTS: market gardeners and farmer look at demonstrations of several large and small agricultural machines and equipment: a sprayer for to spary crops; a mechanically driven grubber; a aerating machine (called a ground hacker by the commenter); a mechanically driven plough with two wheels; a planting machine which two men can use to plant endive, cabbage etc.; a branches burner to quickly destroy prunings.
