The wierde village Weiwerd in Groningen in the mouth of the Eems, which has to disappear because of the expansion of the industry near Delfzijl and the environmental regulations. REACTION by the owner of the grocery shop on the demolition of the village: "I think it is terrible that they will take down such a pretty village."
