Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Pupils of the school on the Fokke Simonszstraat in Amsterdam are handed over some paint and brushes, next to which they paint the woodwork of the builings in the street. The fathers and mothers of the pupils also putting some effort in it on this Saturday afternoon. After the brushing the pupils participate in a contest on a miniature bicycle racetrack, whilst the jury does the judging of the paintwork, amongst the jurors is drawer Eppo Doeve. In the end a band is walking about the street.
