Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
An international bicycle race of 100 kilometres at the Vondelpark. Goal was to improve the neglected park with the gained profit. But there were less visitors than expected because of the rain. The runners included: vd Wiel, Ikelaar, Straat, Wiersma, Hohle, Bekkering, Van Melis, Schlebaum en Maas (the Netherlands), from Germany: Behrend, Jolle, Koch, Siewert en Kohl, and from Belgium: Pellissier, de brothers Buysse, Van Hevel en Vermandel. The belgians Omer Huysse (1),Lucien Buysse (2) en Dossche (3) won eventually. Shots: policemen feeding sparrows in the park whilst waiting 15''; high angle shot: bicyclers coming through, audience on the side, car with Gerzon sign; Start race + shots bicyclers around the bend, followed by car's and motorcycles 48''.
