In Amsterdam a bridge is build above the Vondelpark. With this bridge the traffic from West to South does not necessarily needs to drive around the Vondelpark through the Overtoom, Leidse Bosje, Hobbemastraat and P.C. Hooftstraat, but can go directly to the other side. SHOTS: - on a citymap of Amsterdam the traffic situation is visualized for the viewers with an animation; - the mayor of Amsterdam, A.J. d'Ailly, opens the bridge. Behind him a huge crowd of pedestrians walking about the bridge; - some time later the motorized traffic also uses the bridge.
