100-year anniversary of the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, including the statue of Joost van den Vondel among other things. In celebration of this anniversary modern sculptures were placed in the park such as a painted tree trunk by Karel Appel,De Prins of Teshigara by Alexander Calder, a big chair by Wim T. Schippers, a water sprinkler created by Jean Tinguely and work of André Volten.
