Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
A man tells mr. and mrs. Burger, who live with a family in the Diepbrockstraat in Leeuwarden with their daughter, that their house in the new quarter Heechterp is finished. In the presence of the mayor of Leeuwarden, A.A.M. van der Meulen, mr. Visser, director of Housing and Building Industry in Friesland, hands mr. Burger the key to his house. It is the 5000th house that was built in Leeuwarden after the war. Inside Van der Meulen hands over several presents.
