Archeological excavations led by dr. D.C. Geijskes, director of the Suriname Museum, on the manmade hill Hertenrits in West Suriname. People cut away branches and dig holes. They're lighting smoking fires to keep the musquitos away. They find skeletons and pottery with a.o. animal decorations.
