Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Participants of the Monte Carlo Rally drive through the Netherlands on the third day. One of the participants is a Dutch taxi. SHOTS: - all sorts of cars, mostly foreign, drive trhough the streets of Amsterdam to the checkpoint in and near the Apollohal; there people receive a stamp on their papers; they look at a map; clean their windscreens; some have time for a rest; others leave quickly; - the cars drive on the highways to The Hague to the checkpoint on the Lange Vijverberg; some drivers enjoy the cup of coffee they are offered; then the cars leave again and drive through the streets of The Hague; - in Rotterdam they drive through the Maastunnel; - across the highways the cars drive quickly to the south; - one of the participants stands on the side of the road with a broken-down car; - the Moerdijk bridge is passed; - at the customs office of Wernhout the customs officer checks the cars quickly and then waves them across the border; 01:43 M. Gatsonides(?) (middle) drinks a cup of coffee.
