The 40 years existence of Schiphol Airport. Jan Delleart, director of Schiphol, and I.A. Aler, chairman of KLM, are present at a reception where invited guests make a tour around the airport in busses, a.o. over the new runway for jet planes. Minister H.A. Korthals opens the National Aviation Museum, which houses a.o. a Fokker FVII and copies of the glider of Lilienthal and the airplane of the brothers Wright. With archive material of Schiphol.
