Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The empty station of Stavoren, where there is no more ferry-service because the IJsselmeer has frozen. People drive in cars on the ice of the IJsselmeer during a rally organised by the ice clubs from Stavoren to Noord-Holland. The ANWB and the police control the traffic and a petrol station has been put on the ice. The next Sunday the rally is also driven from Enkhuizen. In the evening people skate with torches across the Gouwzee between Marken en Volendam.
