Of the 600,000 Dutch people going on winter sport about 20,000 suffer an injury. The ANWB-Alarmcentrale (ANWB Emergency Center) makes sure the injured people can return to the Netherlands by airplane, on a so-called gipsvlucht (plaster flight). SHOTS: skiers on a slope in Austria, injured woman is taken down the slope by two first aid workers; injured man in hospital with his leg in an orthopedic cast; int. call center ANWB-Alarmcentrale (with audio fragment of a call center worker giving information to someone that was injured during winter sport); impression of a gipsvlucht of the ANWB-Alarmcentrale (with Fokker Fellowship of Martinair); chauffeur getting into a car to take the family members of someone injured during winter sport home.
