The last voyage of the steam ship "Rotterdam" of the Holland America Line. The ship was sold for scrap to Frank Rijsdijk's Industrieële Onderneming in Hendrik-Ido- Ambacht. First the ship was taken to the Waalhaven in Rotterdam, where the superstructure would be dismantled to give the ship less depth. SHOTS: - four men talking on the ship, one of them the captain; - the "Rotterdam" moors in the harbour and the ship during its last voyage to the Waalhaven, where it is pulled by some tugs.
