The new fish auction in Den Oever is officially opened by the mayor, who auctions the first fish. SHOTS: - Several shots of the harbour with moored ships with the flag in the mast-head; - fishermen hoist baskets and nets with fish out of the hold of their fishing boat;- ext. new fish auction; - int.: the large auction hall is filled with interested people; the fish traders sit in the benches and watch the auction clock carefully; the mayor is seated at the chair of the auctioneer; - several shots of fish traders and the auction clock.
