Week number 61-26
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Because of the increasing traffic a.o. at the Maastunnel (Meuse tunnel) in Rotterdam, the construction of an underground network has begun. In front of the Central Station at the Weena, at the Coolsingel and near the Leuve harbour underground stations are constructed. On the right banks of the Meuse the retaining wall for the construction site to be able to construct the part underneath the Meuse is built. On the other side of the Meuse the tunnel segments for underneath the Meuse are constructed in a dry dock. In a test model of the underground station in a factory complex they look at the functionality.
