Week number 56-11
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
In the middle of the night, thousands of catholic men take part in the first of three silent processions to celebrate the Holy Sacrament of the Miracle for the 75th time. They walk from the Begijnhof (Beguinage) past the lantern in the Kalverstraat, which is placed in front of the site where the miracle occurred in March of 1345. At the end they take part in services in various churches in the city centre.
