Week number 66-14
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The celebration of Pesach, the Jewish Easter. With a specially set table with a roasted bone, an egg, bitterweed, fresh vegetables and matzo's. Chief Rabbi Aron Schuster checks the quality of the wheat and the cleaning of the combine on a special field of farmer Koop in Tjuchem near Appingedam. During the harvest he rides along on the tresher. After the wheat has been put into bags, they are sealed with a leaden seal. In the matzo factory in Enschede the pots and pans are ritually cleansed, after which the production of the matzo's can begin. The dough is rolled out into the correct thickness, the matzo's are punched into the douch and they are baked.
