Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.

On November 1, 1944 the troops of the British Fourth Commando, a.o. existing of English and French soldiers, landed on Walcheren. Now, in 1952, the Minister of War, C. Staf, unveils a statue made by Titus Leeser to commemorate the fallen on the same spot. Present are a.o. many old fighters of the cammando and their old commander, general Leicester. This newsreel contains historical archive material.
