Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
On the terrains of the Rotterdamsche Lloyd a monument is unveiled in the memory of the staff members and direction and management that were killed during the occupation years. The unveiling takes place by B.E. Ruys, who's son Willem Ruys was shot in teh war. His name is put on the monument, together with the ones of the other victims. After the unveiling flowers and wreaths are laid.
