On and near the terrain of the former concentration camp Amersfoort mass graves have been found. Russian soldiers killed by the Germans are reburied at the cemetery "Vredehof" in Amersfoort with militairy honour and a Russian Orthodox ceremony. SHOTS: - fence around the concentration camp; - open burial pits between trees; soldiers digging and handing dug up items to officers; - overview of some of the dug up personal items a.o. pieces of clothing; - soldiers place coffins in a line in a large burial pit; - funeral procession with a.o. soldiers in funeral march, moves with coffin to the cemetery, Russian priest with censer in front; - at the cemetery the priest pronounces the absolution; a firing squad fires salutes over the coffin; (Dutch, French, American, English, Russian) officers stand to attention; wreath laying.
