Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Summer holiday in the Netherlands. People depart from Schiphol Airport to far off holiday destinations. Because of the warm weather it's crowded at the border lakes of the IJsselmeer polders, where people lie on the beaches. At the Artis zoo in Amsterdam the polar bears and elephants are being sprayed with water and the pinguins are housed in a cold-storage room. Youth and adults play in the fountains and ponds of Amsterdam and the terraces are filled with people. At a soft drink factory bottles are filled up.
