The activitities of the Naval Coast Guard. SHOTS: - soldiers stand guard at observation posts in the dunes; - soldier near signal lamp; - signal flag is being hoisted ("MKW": Marine Kust Wacht (Naval Coast Guard)); - wooden barrack in the dunes, residence of the Naval Coast Guard troops; - soldier puts on protective clothing against the cold; - ships sail along the coast and are observed by the coast guard; - cooking chef in the galley; - soldier eating at table; - soldier with cat and marines sleeping in hammocks and playing soccer on the beach; - lighthouse; - coast guard signals with signal lamp to passing ship; - telephonists working at the telephone station, where messages of the incoming and outgoing shipping traffic come in and are passed along to the Dutch authorities.
