The Amsterdam Bureau for "Vakantiebesteding" ("Holiday spending") organises in the Bosplan several open air activities for people from Amtsterdam who can't afford to leave on holiday. SHOTS: - on a big field near the Bosbaan adults and children recreate: people are eating, some of them behind a sunscreen or under a sunshade; some are fishing; some are sleeping; a father sits with his baby; others sit on folding chairs on the waterside; - puppet show: the somewhat older children sit in a semi-circle on the ground and look at the open air show, which features figures from newspaper comics: Tom Poes: Ollie. B. Bommel; kapitein Rob; Bulletje en Bonestaak; Eric de Noorman; Pa Pinkelman and Tante Pollewop.
