Week number 73-20
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Nowadays the commemoration of the dead from WW II takes place once every five years. Flowers are laid and two minutes of silence are held at the National Monument on Dam square in Amsterdam. Near the war monument of sculptor Fred Carasso in Sprang-Capelle lies one wreath and there is no commemoration. In Waalwijk is a late opening of the shops and at the war monument by John Raedecker is no commemoration. With comments by people about why they don't commemorate and youth of whom some don't know what kind of night it is.
