The second Dutch politionele actie (police action) in Indonesia provokes fierce international reactions. The Security Council of the UN will have a meeting on 6 January to discuss the case. Minister without a portfolio and Dutch delegate with the Security Council, dr. J.H. van Royen, departs from Schiphol Airport to the meeting of the Security Council in Lake Success in the USA. Before he leaves he answers questions from journalists in the waiting room.
