Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Japanese prisoners of war leave for Japan from transit camp Balikpapan on Borneo. The ones suspected of war crimes have to stay in the camp to await trial. SHOTS: - a long column of Japanese soldiers pass the guards at the fence and the barbed wire of the tents and baracks camp; the Japanese trudge, mostly with bags and baggage, to the harbour and board an American Liberty ship; - the ones that had to stay in the camp are lined up (a.o. close ups).
