Patrols by the Japanese army with lorries and tanks in the streets of Batavia; Dutch and English soldiers are disembarked from landing crafts in the harbour of Tandjong Priok; soldiers guard suspects and check and search passers-by; women and children are taken from a former internment camp in Makasar by lorries and are taken to the coast to embark and ship them home; aboard the ship the children are entertained with: a swing, a seesaw and paddling.
