Foundation MEMO (mens- en milieuvriendelijk ondernemen, enterprising human and environmentally friendly) devotes itself to small-scale companies as opposites to multinational corporations. Handiwork, craftsmanship and job satisfaction come first in these enterprises, that make products in the field of food, clothing, living and transport. At the MEMO exhibition in the meditation center De Kosmos in Amsterdam small-scale companies show how they work. SHOTS: ext. meditation center De Kosmos; demonstration of different kinds of handiwork at the MEMO exhibition; a baker that bakes bread.
