Water pollution in the Netherlands. With footage of nature reserves with water, where a man takes a sample of the water, water under a microscope, foam of syntethic detergent in the Lutherse Beek, a canal that has been polluted by potato flour and strawboard factories in Oude Pekela, the pipes for polluted water from Hoogkerk to the Wadden Sea, the lake area between former coast and the empoldered land of the IJsselmeer with floating excrement from the open sewer and dead fish, a seage treatment plant in Harderwijk, people swimming in a lake in which a prohibited for swimming sign has been put up because of the pollution and the drinking-water purification plant De Berenplaat, where water from the Rhine is purified to drinking-water for Rotterdam. Also a reaction by a man about the water pollution in Oude Pekela.
