De oudminister van Waterstaat, mr. P.J. Reymer, houdt intocht als nieuwe burgemeester van Roermond en wordt door bevolking enthousiast ontvangen. SHOTS: -Enkele shots Reymer arriveert met echtgenote per auto, wordt uitbundig toegejuicht door menigte op plein, loopt langs erewacht militairen en gaat trap op naar bordes (?) stadhuis 28'; -enkele shots Reymer met gezelschap op bordes 2'+2'+2'+2'; -enkele shots massale zanghulde en toejuichingen op plein 15'+14'+20'.
