Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Students are looking for a place to live in Amsterdam. A student looks for room advertisements in the newspaper and others ask for a room at a special housing bureau. Students are temporarily staying at a house that is on the list to be taken down. Near the Amstel station is student hosuing Casa Academica and elsewhere in the city new blocks of flats are build for students. Because of the room shortage, the students march the streets carrying banners and on the Dam a student lives in a barrel.
