Mrs. Rooyer christens the policlinic boat named after her husband in the presence of her husband, dr. G. Rooyer, chairman of Simavi, at a shipyard in Zaandam. After the christening the boat is launched. The boat is donated by Simavi for the medical work at the Radja Empad islands near New Guinea.
