Since 1951 the Roman Catholic University Nijmegen has a medical faculty. Ext. and int.; recapitulation of the first graduation ceremony at this faculty: the physician Smithuis becomes a doctor in medicine. After his graduation he is congratulated by rector Rogier and his tutor prof. Lammers.
