Week number 49-23
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
To decrease the acute shortage of schools for the primary and Montessori education school buildings made out of wood are erected at several places at a fast pace (one school in two months). The wood is imported from Finland. SHOTS: - a team of carpenters work on a wooden school building (on a foundation made of concrete); - ext. and int. shots of a finished school building; - several shots of students: playing at the playground; entering the school; sitting on the benches in the classroom (arms crossed!); getting reading lessons with the help of an 'Aap-Noot-Mies' primer.
